2010 Chinese New Year Events

The upcoming Chinese New Year is on February 14, 2010 which also falls on Valentine’s Day. It is the Year of the tiger. Chinese have celerated Chinese New Year festival for over 2,000 years. There are varieties of Chinese New Year celerabrations in US and around the world. Events have parade, traditonal food, dragon dance, lantern festival and exhibtion, etc.

Gong Hei Fa Choi

1. San Diego Chinese New Year Fair will be held in downtown San Diego, Ca (Third Ave and J Street) on Saturday (02/20/2010) and Sunday (02/21/2010). It features Chinese crafts, Chinese acrobats, dragon dancing, Chinese music, martial arts and a children’s activity area;

2. Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco, Ca will be taken place on 02/27/2010 (Sat.) in Chinatown;

3. Golden Dragon Parade for Chinese New Year 2010 in Los Angeles, CA will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sat. (02/20/2010);
