A prayer wheel is a cylindrical wheel in which the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is written in Sanskrit on the wheel. Spinning the prayer wheel acted as one recites the sixth mantra a lot of times.

Prayer wheel is also known as Mani Cylinder or Rolling Prayer Drum. Mani has the meaning of Wishful Baozhu and Baozhu is the mystic ball that has endless power. In Buddhism, it is believed that the more reciting to the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum, the more devout to Buddhist Bodhisattva. So it is got more protection and good fortune from Buddhism Bodhisattva.
