It is made of sandal. When you open it, you can smell the light flavor of sandal. It smells well. Also there is one tassel attached, which means good luck, attached to the fan.

There are two kinds of the sandalwood hand fans: with pictures and without pictures: The dimension of the hand fan with picture is approx. 9" in height, 15" in opening length and the hand fan without picture is approx. 8" in height, 13.5" in opening length.
