First the highest point of the fish tank can’t be over the height of a standing adult’s heart position. In the same time, the lowest water level of the fish tank can’t be lower than a standing adult’s knees. Because the knee belongs to earth element, the earth element would destroy water element and cause the knees problems.

The best location for one person is called Sheng Qi which can be found by your Gua Number. Therefore the best location for your fish tank is at your Sheng Qi position.

- If your gua number is 1, you belongs to water element. The propitious number of fishes for you is 1, 6, 4 and 9. In feng shui, 1 and 6 are the early heaven number of water element. 4 and 9 are early heaven number of metal element, which supports the water element.
- If your gua number is 2, 5 or 8, you belongs to earth element. The propitious number of fishes for you is 2, 7, 5 and 10. In feng shui, 5 and 10 are the earth element. 2 and 7 are the early heaven number of fire element, which supports the earth element.
- If your gua number is 3 or 4, you belong to wood element. The propitious number of fishes for you is 3 and 8. In feng shui, 3 and 8 are early heaven number of wood element.

I m confused by this gua no calculation. My gua no is 6 n my husband’s 3 now all the auspicious directions given by ur calculator for me n my husband are totaly opposite. Yes, it is good to have 10 fishes total in your aquarium since your gua number is 6. Gua number 6 belongs to Metal element. 10-fish belongs to earth element which can support metal element.

7 goldfish will be benefit for gua number 9. However your wife has gua number7. In order to consider not conflict to both of you, it is better to choose either 3 or 8 goldfishes.
If there are more than 10 fishes, you can divide the number of fish by 10. The remainder is as the fish number.
